Our running joke is that she blossomed from nerdy girl to super trendy cool lady. We first met when we were freshmen in high school and yes, Liz was one of those REALLY weird kids at summer camp.

Fast forward to 4 years later, when Liz shows up to go to a high school formal with me and my friends during our senior year of high school and MAN, it was a different girl that showed up. Blue gown and updo in all, it was not unlike some cindrella magic. So magical that it took me about 3 hours to figure out who she was.

Is this girl not lovely? I took this about 2 hours before Tommy asked her to be his wife. :D

English Camp love

I wasn't planning on updating from Ostrava, but I had to...I had one of the best weeks of my life.

My students from English Camp were so wonderful.
As a thank you gift they gave me a pillow. They said it was because I would be traveling much on my way home and they hoped that I would have sweet dreams...maybe of them.

And indeed, I will.

Green Girl on the Move

I tell ya, this girl is ready to get out of the office and into the summer sunshine. :)

And its a good thing because I'm leaving for Czech Republic in eight days.

{there are from a lovely spring day that i spent with mrs. gilmore - she's in photo #1 (and she's pretty amazing.) But the shoes and scarf are mine. :)}

Life is Sweet

Lots of changes going on right now but watching one of my favorite kiddos enjoy his red velvet cupcake at Cathie & Steven's wedding reminded me to just enjoy each day as it comes. And yes there will be crumbs.

I LOVE THIS. It's a flickr find that was very much what I have been wishing for...summers when we could wander off into the woods and come back before dinner and be tucked into our beds at night.
